House Concert:
Niccole Blaze & Mo Kelly
Singer/Songwriter,
Niccole Blaze and her bassist, Mo Kelly draw an audience with their
compelling lyrics and angelic harmonies that audiences’ say "open your
heart and tear it apart at the same time." With influences ranging from
Bonnie Raitt to the Indigo Girls, they’re known for being delightfully
entertaining both on stage and off, & are gaining recognition
nationwide.
Originally from the east coast, Niccole Blaze took to the music business with a vengeance, starting her own record label, B-Lazy records in 2000. She produced her own large scale shows featuring guests from Boston and Canada, and has shared the stage with artists such as Shawn Colvin, Nina Gerber, and Karla Bonoff. She tours regionally and nationally and plays over 150 times a year. She currently has two CD’s out, "Despite the Dents," and "Smile." Niccole actively supports the arts with her participation in workshops and benefit concerts for the Red Cross, Tsunami Relief efforts, and local art council events. This singer-songwriter clearly defines the meaning of authentic. Her booming laugh and candid smile lights up the stage making her audiences feel like her personal friend. Folk rock in style, she plays her 6 string "Laverne", a Larivee guitar, and an occasional mouth harp.
West Coast girl Mo Kelly grew up amidst the vineyards of Sonoma County, California with a keen ear for music. She was known to play songs on the piano after hearing them only once, as well as write and sing her own songs. Drawn to the bass guitar, with her passion for singing rekindled upon meeting Niccole, she entered a visionary journey that yielded a career in music. Riveted by Niccole’s prolific lyrics that speak to the truth and duality of human kind, she finessed the songs with her sweet harmonies and booming bass. Her tenacity and charisma added to their success as they are now touring all over the US and earning quick popularity in their new hometown, Boise, Idaho.
